The Calgary Bridge Foundation for Youth engages immigrant youth and families to fulfill their potential in Canadian society. Since 1990, the Calgary Bridge Foundation for Youth (CBFY) has successfully implemented programs that utilize a holistic approach to the integration and settlement of immigrant youth. CBFY espouses education as a valuable tool for the empowerment of immigrant youth. We engage parents, communities, social service and community organizations, as well as various levels of government as crucial allies in the improvement of the welfare of immigrant youth in Calgary. Because we recognize that a healthy family will create healthy youth, we also offer services that support the settlement of the families to which our youth belong. CBFY offers proactive programs, and works in an official partnership with the Calgary Board of Education (CBE) and the Calgary Catholic Schools District (CCSD).
